Hello all

So it's been a very windy last couple of days here in Philly, Hurricane Sandy passed us by fortunately and we didn't even get any power outages. Looking at the news, New Jersey and NYC got hit hard so I hope everyone there is safe and well!!!!

I haven't taken any new photos recently, I still have quite a lot to go through from the past year or so (as I had been so unproductive going through them all). I will hopefully take some over the next month or so, although the best of autumn will most likely of passed by which is a shame.

Hello all

Ok so firstly and foremost I need to say a massive THANK YOU to *TomKilbane who so kindly bought me a sub, it was very unexpected and very kind of him so to say thank you here is a little feature of his work.




Now onto a feature of recent faves, I'm going to try and do a journal update at least once a week with a featured artist and then a general feature (hopefully this should keep me in check on here and not go missing for a year....or longer like last time).

Ok so finally if you have made it this far an update on my life:

Firstly I am currently living in the US of A for a few months, I have moved here as my girlfriend ~jayxxbe was in the UK but had to move back, so I came with her .

I am hoping to go to NYC in a couple of weeks so hopefully I can get a good number of architectural shots while I am there.

I had been working my ass off when I was back in the UK, I got swamped with Architectural work (part of the reason I was never on here), I am so pleased though as I feel I have gained loads more experience and am now feeling ready to start seriously looking into going back to University to study my Part 2 in Architecture.

In other news my lovely sister is going to be getting married, I cant wait firstly because its going to be in Scotland (which I have never visited some how) so hopefully some great photo opportunities will arise and secondly because its so wonderful to finally see her so happy.

What have you all been up to? Anything exciting happened to anyone? Any new plans?

Hello everyone

I am trying to be more active on her for a change, so I figured one way of helping was to get a subscription again. But DA is being stupid and wont except my credit card, it says I have entered something incorrectly but I know all the info is right.

Does anyone know why this might be?

Well this has been rather a long time in coming. Sorry about the delay, I just dont have much spare time currently. So I'm off to France tomorrow eve, I can't wait There should be some new photos on the way, I'm quite looking forward to shooting a bit again, hopefully some will turn out well. I think I will try and upload one for each day I'm there......most likely not on the day it was shot, but I should have 14 new photos

I still need to do the suggestions feature, I shall make a point of doing it within the first few days I'm in France, thank you everyone who suggested someone, I got a great response and found many new artists.

<sub>It's crazy how quick a year goes, and its mad how much happens. Today the 8th October is one year since quite a lot in my life changed. A year ago today my sisters fiancee was killed in Afganistan. [link]

I'm sure a lot of people here dont agree with war, but it was a lost life, someone who meant a lot to many people, like any life lost its a great tragedy. It's strange when something like this happens, it makes you reflect on a lot. Things which were/are happening in my own life and other issues around the world.

The event has affected me in many ways, I have tried to use it as inspiration, but also at times it has been a source of great sadness in my life. I think though recently I have realised that nothing can be changed about it. I need to look to the positives in my own life and draw inspiration from this.

I think I should leave it there before I start waffling and going into some over the top rant/expression of feelimgs and emotions. I just wanted to let people know that a lot happens in a year. Those events can be good or bad, we just need to make sure we draw from those experiences and become a stronger person from it.


A photo which touched me when I fist saw it a few months ago, no matter where you're from or why someone has lost there life, we should remember them, and cherish our memories of them.
